Sharing a Desktop (Mac)
- Download Chicken of the VNC
- http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc/
- Install (drag into Applications)
- Enable Apple Remote Desktop in Sharing, System Prefereneces.
- Still in Sharing, click on Firewall and then the "New..." button
- select “VNC” from the ports combo box. That will open up 5900-5902.
You will need to know your ip address to give to the other person, also you may need to do portforwarding depending on your router. Log in to your router, and set port 5900 on your machine for port forwarding.
